Dr. Gerrie Ebersöhn

Dr Ebersöhn brings extensive legal experience and a strong academic foundation to his practice, with a career spanning more than 22 years in litigation and dispute resolution. He completed his doctorate in law at the University of the Free State in 2002, building on his academic achievements and longstanding interest in the development of legal practice.
He commenced his professional career at Hofmeyr Herbstein & Gihwala Inc. (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr), where he gained valuable experience in high-stakes litigation. In 2005, he established his own practice, building a career centred on complex disputes, strategic legal advice, and the resolution of high-stakes matters.
Dr Ebersöhn has extensive experience representing clients in proceedings before the High Court, Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, and Constitutional Court, and also appears from time to time in the CCMA. Over the course of his career, he has advised and represented clients across several industries, notably the motor industry and the construction industry.
